WHERE: St. Frances Cabrini, O'Connell Hall In 2026,
Bishop Mark Eckman will spend the year visiting each parish in the Diocese of Pittsburgh, inviting parishioners to a
Living the Works of Mercy Together Listening Session
.He is personally committing an extraordinary amount of time and energy to this effort because he wants to understand, with clarity and depth, how the Works of Mercy are being lived in our parish today. He also wants to know where our greatest needs and opportunities lie at Mary, Queen of Saints Parish.
This knowledge will guide him as he shapes a vision for the future of the Church of Pittsburgh, focused on faith, service, charity, compassion and unity.
The Works of Mercy are the foundation of our life as disciples of Jesus; the way the heart of Christ becomes visible in our communities. These sessions will allow Bishop Eckman to celebrate the good happening in our parish, hear directly from the people of God, understand our local realities and build a future rooted in both mercy and mission.
Please note, an online registration is required to attend. Please fill out the RSVP by clicking the link below. We hope you will join us for this evening of listening and learning with Bishop Eckman.
