On Thursday, March 19, 2026, an evening Mass will be offered at 6 PM in honor of the Solemnity of St. Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, in St. Titus Church. Following the Mass will be a Table of St. Joseph Dinner in Titan Hall. In the Middle Ages, the people of Sicily believed they were saved from a serious drought and famine through prayerful devotion to and the intercession of St. Joseph. In his honor, a meal with all was held in thanksgiving for his protection.
In the same spirit, a special meatless meal has been planned featuring:
St. Joseph’s Sawdust Pasta
Salad & Bread
Sfingi (fried bread dough, rolled in sugar)
“St. Joseph did not do extraordinary things, but rather by the constant practice of ordinary and common virtues, he attained that sanctity which elevates him above all the other saints.” / St. Joseph Marello
