Much Gratitude

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Father Canice and Father Celestine for their support of our parish’s annual Vacation Bible School. A very special thank you goes to Tresa Van Heusen for sharing her inspiring program, “Exploring the World with St. Carlo Acutis,” which led our children on a meaningful journey through the Eucharistic Miracles of Europe.

We are deeply grateful to the 70 amazing volunteers — middle school, high school, college students, and adults — who helped make this year’s VBS such a success for the 88 children who participated. From decorating the stage and donating or preparing food from various cultures to assisting with crafts, leading recreation, and offering support and energy throughout the week, your efforts brought faith and joy to life in a remarkable way.

Special thanks also go to staff members Josh Kilmer, Rachael Palmer, and Dana Havey for their dedication and behind-the-scenes support; to Jeannette Ayoob Urban for her beautifully designed VBS T-shirts; and to Jamila Foods for providing their delicious grape leaves, which added a special cultural touch to our experience. Thank you to Bowser’s Restaurant, John Girata, all volunteers, and families for their donations.
